AvailableSurcharge Certain items that we carry here at Euro Car Parts have been reconditioned. These items will carry an additional 'Surcharge' amount or 'Refundable Deposit'.
This cost is automatically added to your Shopping Basket when you select a reconditioned item. When we receive your old unit back, the surcharge amount will be refunded to you as soon as the item has been checked by our returns department. Before returning your old unit please ensure that it is in a re-serviceable condition.
For example, Caliper casings should not be badly damaged or broken. Euro Car Parts reserves the right not to refund the surcharge if it is found that the unit is unserviceable.

Lucas Compressor A/C
The compressor acts as the heart of the AC system. It compresses and circulates the refrigerant around the car's air conditioning system. Low pressure refrigerant is drawn into one side of the pump, and expelled as a high pressure vapour which then goes to the Condenser.
Compressors generally fail due to contaminates entering the compressor or lack of oil; its vital that the correct PAG oil is used when replacing the compressor.
Euro Car Parts Offer 2 types of Compressor:
New Units: An OEM brand new unit (normally no surcharge)
Remanufactured Units: An OEM unit, remanufactured to the highest standards (normally carries a surcharged)
When replacing a compressor it is vital that the Receiver Drier is replaced as the same time.

Any remaining balance due after the 4-month promotional period or any transactions under £99.00 will be charged interest at 23.9% p.a. (variable).
