Pagid Brake Drum
Drum brakes would normally be found on the rear wheels of the vehicle (where less braking performance is required). They work on the same principle as the disc brake whereby friction material is forced against the brake surface to generate friction. The brake drum is the brake surface where the brake shoes are the friction. They should be replaced when worn below minimum thickness or distrorted.
