This Premium Synthetic automatic transmission oil has been specially developed for the latest generation 9-speed automatic transmission from Mercedes-Benz where the MB 236.17 is mandatory recommended. This high quality transmission oil has a very high stable viscosity index, provides excellent protection against wear, corrosion and foaming, and due to the very low pour point provides very good lubrication at extremely low temperatures.
Due to the excellent properties as listed above, this oil has very low internal friction in the automatic gearbox which has a fuel-saving operation.
MPM Automatic Transmission Fluid MB9 with MB 236.17 can also be used where MB 236.16 is recommended. However, this high quality product with MPM Mercedes-Benz 236.17 specification can absolutely not be used for automatic gearboxes where earlier specifications such as MB 236.10, 236.12, 236.14 and / or MB 236.15 are prescribed.
