All 027 car batteries use 12v of power; have a length of 242mm; a width of 175mm; and a height 190 mm. Yet not all of these batteries are the same. Those that use lead acid are standard products. This type of battery will last for up to 20,000 starts. Calcium 027 batteries are of a higher grade than those using lead acid. On average, they give you more starting power due to their increased level of cold cranking amps (CCA). This type of battery will last for up to 30,000 starts. Choose a calcium 027 battery if your car requires an extra boost on cold winter mornings. Do you use a lot of gadgets in your car, such as phone chargers, air-conditioning and satellite navigation? If so, a high-end absorbent glass mat (AGM) 027 battery may be a wise choice. This kind of battery can last for up to 50,000 starts. Please note: Before buying 027 batteries with a high CCA, you should check that your engine is large enough to benefit from the increased performance.
