Bendix

Founded in 1927, Bendix has a long history of producing automotive brake shoes and active safety technologies, with a particular focus on light and heavy commercial vehicles. The company initially launched by supplying its Safety Servo vacuum brake to General Motors, and by 1975 its dual air brake system was designated a safety standard by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
