Evaporation Filters

Car evaporation filters are an integral part of your vehicle’s air conditioning system as they absorb and vaporise heat from the air in the passenger compartment, once cold refrigerant has been released into it.
Climbing into a sticky car on a hot summer’s day can often be highly uncomfortable, particularly when opening the window only circulates more warm air. This is where evaporation filters step in - allowing the hot air to be converted to refreshing cool air. More than just vaporising heat from the air and adding refrigerant to it before it is circulated within your vehicle, evaporation filters also dehumidify the cabin to help reduce fusty odours. Evaporation filters, due to the nature of their purpose, can often become clogged with particles of dust and lint as air passes through them. Once this clogging happens, evaporation filters can become far less effective, or cease to work altogether.
