The disc is a high performance 2 piece fully floating brake disc normally found on high performance vehiclesThe discs are all centre split castings and this gives a more balanced casting compared to a moulded out casting. This means that the disc is less prone to heat distortion and failure
As part of our testing procedure we run the disc through the new industry standard which is called the R90 disc test. To give you an idea about the test it involves running the vehicle up to V-max and doing 2 stops one after the other for 150 cycles. To give you an idea of how tough this test is, we have found generally an OEM disc would only get half way through this test before failing. Our disc has gone through 2 of these tests with no heat surface crazing or cracking. This demonstrates that our disc can withstand the harshest of track use.

  • Each disc will have 48 curved vanes and most importantly will behanded to improve cooling efficiency, unlike many OEM discs these days where the curved vanes run in the wrong direction on one side of the car
  • Having handed discs increases our machining and production costs but this allows for far better cooling performance and ends up with a higher quality product for your end user
  • Technically a 2 piece fully floating disc is superior to a bolted disc
  • The fully floating disc allows for the friction ring to grow independently of the hub dramatically increasing stopping performance and service life
  • Our disc will be using stainless steel bobbins and nuts and this will ensure that the bobbins cannot corrode in the slots in the disc ring which is a problem common with many other floating discs as the floating function of the disc can lock up with corrosion
  • Each of our high performance 2 piece disc rings will be cast out of a G3500 disc alloy this is constructed with a high carbon and copper

No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank/ Public Holidays.

Click & collect

Our Click & Collect service is FREE.

Click & Collect is easy way to check the stock, latest price and reserve products at your local Euro Car Parts branch. Click & Collect is available for all products and if in stock at your selected branch, items will be available for immediate collection and held until the end of the next working day. To Reserve your products, simply choose Click & Collect as checkout method and enter your branch. Our system will than check the latest stock at your nearest branches and if items are in stock you can reserve them immediately. Alternatively, if the items are not in stock, our system will offer you a later collection date, if available. Once you submit the form, you will receive e-mail containing your proof of reservation and reference number. Do not forget to bring your confirmation email with you when you visit our branch to collect your order.

 

Returns

At Euro Car Parts we hope that you are happy with your purchase, however we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item. You can return your purchase to any of our Euro Car Parts Stores.

  • Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
