Shell Helix Ultra Professional AM-L 5W-30 for gasoline and diesel engines is approved against the technically challenging Mercedes-Benz MB 229.511, BMW LL-042 low- SAPS specifications.
It is formulated especially for use in diesel engine vehicles using diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology.
Its low-SAPS formulation helps to protect DPF systems from plugging.
May be used in Mercedes-Benz diesel engines with or without a diesel particulate filter. May be used in gasoline engines in the EU, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
