A car is composed of many different parts, each with a unique role to ensure a smooth, safe and efficient drive. These include:

What is the outer body of a car called?

The external shell of a car is called the unibody. Parts are attached to the unibody to form the exterior of the vehicle, such as mirrors, the roof, fenders, the hood lid, doors and windows.
