Laser 5147 TIMING TOOL SET - JAGUAR/LAND ROVER 4.0 & 4.2 V8

Jaguar petrol engines (up to 2010) are robust and in the main a reliable engine. However as their age increases (and with it their mileage) we have had reports of timing chain and head gasket problems. This kit includes a pair of camshaft locking bridges, a front pulley puller, a camshaft pulley holding tool and a crankshaft locking pin. The crankshaft locking pin has been specially designed in-house to combine two OEM tool designs, therefore extending the applications of the kit. Specifically introduced for pre 2010 4.0 and 4.2L V8 petrol engines fitted with timing chains.

  • Application pre 2010 models including Daimler V8, Sport 4.0, 3.2, 4.2 and 3.5L; Jaguar S type, XJ8, XJR, XK8 & XKR.
  • Engine codes: AC, BC, CC, CE, DC, EC, GC, HB, KC, LB, LC, NB, NC, PA, PC, RB, SB, TB, 1B & 3B.
  • Also fits Jaguar engines fitted to Land Rover Discovery 3 and Range Rover 4.2L Supercharged 4.4L with engine codes 4PN & 428PS.
  • The crankshaft locking pin has been especially designed to combine 2 OEM designs into one tool.
  • Made in Sheffield.

Free From 200+ Branches

To Reserve your products at one of our 250+ branches, simply choose Click & Collect at checkout method and enter your postcode. Our system will then check the latest stock at your nearest branches and if items are in stock you can reserve them by placing an order.

 

 

International Delivery

We offer delivery to European and many international destinations. For european countries, prices start from £4.45 and are calculated at the checkout page. Click here for a price guide.

For non-european countries, please select your parts and check out normally selecting your country; we'll then weigh your parcel and email you with the additional delivery charge. We can then proceed with your order once you have confirmed the additional charges.

Returns
